Greg is running for State Representative of Philadelphia's 188th legislative district in West and Southwest Philly. The 188th includes parts of Spruce Hill, Squirrel Hill, Walnut Hill, Kingsessing, Garden Court, Beige Block, and University City.

Greg Benjamin was born and raised in Philadelphia. He's a husband of 29 years, a father, and a loving grandfather. Greg holds a Master's Degree in Human Services and has dedicated his career to helping people with intellectual disabilities.
Greg has served as a community activist and advocate in the Kingsessing neighborhood of SouthWest Philadelphia for more than two decades. Through his advocacy, Greg has fought for local libraries resources, community centers, and neighborhood revitalization projects. Over the years, he's engaged thousands of residents living in West and Southwest Philadelphia in community building and revitalization. Greg has organized hundreds of community events. He has brought the community of Southwest Philadelphia together around the gentification.

Greg serves as a minister at the Church of Christian Compassion under the leadership of Pastor W. Lonnie Herndon.
In 2018, Greg was elected as Democratic Ward Leader of Philadelphia's 51st Ward.

In Harrisburg, Greg will bring vision, experience, and an intense track record for serving the people and neighborhoods of West and Southwest Philadelphia.

On Tuesday, April 28, 2020, vote Democrat Greg Benjamin for State Representative of the 188th Legislative District.
